314 Kitchen + Bar (“we”, “us”) is a family-run restaurant and bar at 314 St Paul’s Road, London N1 2LF. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website, by phone, by email or when you book a table.

What we collect and why

Table bookings. Your name, phone number, email, party size, date and any notes (for example a celebration or seating request). We use this to manage your booking and contact you about it. Online bookings are taken through our booking provider, Dojo, which processes the data on our behalf; please also see Dojo’s privacy notice on the booking page.
Allergies and dietary needs. If you tell us about an allergy or dietary requirement, we use it only to prepare your food safely and keep it only as long as needed for your visit.
Group and party enquiries, contact form and emails. Your name, contact details and message, so we can reply and arrange your event, including any deposit.
Payments and deposits. Card payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
Gift vouchers. If you buy a gift voucher, we keep the purchaser’s details and the voucher record so the voucher can be used and to handle any queries.
Website analytics and advertising. Only if you accept cookies (see below): information about how you use our website, such as pages viewed and clicks on the booking button.

Our legal bases are: performing your booking or purchase (contract), our legitimate interest in running and improving our restaurant and replying to enquiries, your consent (for non-essential cookies and any marketing), and legal obligations (for example accounting records).

Marketing

We will only send you marketing emails or text messages if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the restaurant and this website (booking, payments, email, website hosting, and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Meta advertising tools), and where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept for up to 2 years after your visit, enquiries for up to 2 years, and financial records for 6 years as required by law. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics tool (up to 14 months).

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. If you reject them, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Essential: needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice (stored in your browser). These are always on.
Analytics (Google Analytics): help us understand which pages are useful. Only with your consent.
Advertising (Meta Pixel): help us measure whether our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to bookings. Only with your consent.
Embedded content: our Instagram feed, maps and booking page come from other websites, which may set their own cookies when you use them.

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
